Jason Caras is a serial entrepreneur, author, speaker, and the founder of Caras Institute, a management consulting, business advisory, and business process outsourcing firm based in Tampa, Florida. He works with CEOs and founders of companies between $1M and $50M+ in revenue who want to grow, scale, and eventually exit on their own terms.
Background
Jason built IT Authorities, a Tampa managed services provider, from a startup into a $34 million company without outside capital, earning a place on the Inc. 5000 list seven times before selling the company to a publicly traded firm. He was a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award. Over more than 20 years he has launched twelve companies, three of which became major successes, and he has been a member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay since 2010.
Caras Institute
Caras Institute was founded to give growing companies the kind of hands-on operating partner that Jason wished he’d had. The firm works in two ways. Advisory and consulting engagements put Jason and a network of specialists on the owner’s side of the table for strategy, finance, operations, sales, marketing, and AI. Business process outsourcing takes over functions like finance and accounting, HR and payroll, technology, project management, and sales and marketing, delivered by vetted onshore and offshore teams. Jason also leads a CEO Peer Group of up to twelve Tampa Bay business owners who meet monthly.
